Revolting Rhymes Fairy Tales

A page of fun where students have messed with nursery rhymes and fairy tales, much like Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes.

Mary and her Lamb

I chose to try and rewrite Mary Had a Little Lamb because I thought it was easy.

Mary had a little lamb,
It’s fleece as white as snow.
She decided to trade it,
For an African buffalo.

++Hickory, Dickory, Dock

I rewrote this because I need a boost, so rewrote one to help me start.

Hickory, Dickory, Dock
I hate my alarm clock.
When the clock strikes five,
It's time to get up and ready.
I'm so tired and very unsteady,
School days are the worst.
